The Ginseng Conspiracy has been out for a year and it's been having a great run. The novel was featured on the Sisters in Crime website and in their printed Quarterly, in the Wisconsin Writers Association's "Creative Wisconsin" magazine, on Amazon Prime and cozy websites: Cozy-Mystery.com and Cozy Mysteries Unlimited. I've had numerous interviews both online and in print (two newspapers) and it has received glowing reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes and Noble.

Thank you, for your support. It's been great fun! :) I can't think of anything that I would rather do, than to write mystery novels (Well, perhaps traveling through Europe. :) ) Please continue to spread the word about Kay and Phil, Deirdre and Elizabeth to your friends!

And Murder Under the Tree (A Kay Driscoll Mystery Book2) has been following in Ginseng's footsteps, receiving much attention.

Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind. ~ Henry James

Happy New Year! The new year is a time for self-reflection, to remember the events of last year; our blessings and our challenges and then to think of the possibilities of this year, with its fresh start.

An act of kindness, whether simple or extravagant, can change a person's life, and the world for the better. The act of being kind is a lifestyle choice, a conscience effort to do a kind thing for someone, for the collective welfare, or for the planet.

It can be easy to be kind to people close to us. Real kindness encompasses all people. By being kind, you realize that all beings are one. What harm one does to others, they do to themselves. What good one does to help another, they do to themselves. Kindness gives dignity to everyone. It's a win-win situation.
